Rihanna has always served as a body and style inspiration for most women. But like everybody else in the world, she, too, feels the need to hit the gym to feel healthy. In her legendary cover story interview with British Vogue for its September issue, she revealed that she’s going back to exercising regularly. Nonetheless, there are still some attributes she’s still afraid of losing.
“I’m about to get back into the gym and stuff, and I hope I don’t lose my butt or my hips or all of my thighs. I’ll lose some, but not all,” she said, E! News reports. “And I think of my boobs, like, ‘Imma lose everything, everything goes!’ But, you know, it comes with a price. You want to have a butt, then you have a gut.”
Whether she has a gut or not, Rihanna is still a stunning woman. When asked how she feels about often being the girl other women love, her reply is based on her current “thicc” body type. “Okay, you’re asking the wrong person,” she said. “I don’t know, maybe it’s because I’m ‘thicc’ now. I don’t know.”
In addition to her new body goals, the Fenty Beauty creator also discussed the importance of being selective when it comes to the people she surrounds herself with. “I’m very picky about friends. I don’t like to open myself up to everyone and so when you find people who are great and loyal, you don’t want to let go of that,” she said. “I’ve been out here on my own since I was a teenager, so these people become like your family.”
