Though Valentine’s Day is officially over, Blac Chyna’s gift from from her new boyfriend, Rob Kardashian, is sure to last much longer than heart-shaped candy and flowers. According to TMZ, Kardashian showed his boo his appreciation by gifting her with a $35,000 crystallized portrait of herself.
The 7-by-7 piece, which the DMV native posted on her Instagram on the holiday, features a long-haired woman of Chyna’s likeness seductively posing. The colorful artwork is covered in diamond dust, remains from diamond cutting, that ran Kardashian $50 per ounce. And, to top it off, the reality star had lyrics from John Legend’s song, “The Beginning,” inscribed on the piece, a reference to he and Chyna’s surprising social media coming out last month.
Kardashian held no punches with the artwork and hired Tonia Calderon to bring his vision to life. Calderon, who reportedly met the sole brother of the Kardashian klan through mutual friends, has been commissioned by some of the biggest in entertainment including Lady Gaga, Dr. Dre, and Diddy who requested a similar piece of hip-hop legend and his late friend, Biggie Smalls.
