During an interview on Fox News, former mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani openly spoke out about the recent events that have occurred in Ferguson, Mo., and says he believes Darren Wilson, the former officer involved in the fatal shooting of teen Michael Brown in August, should be praised for his actions.
“What happened in Ferguson is that a man committed a robbery, attempted to assault a police officer, and the police officer – to save his life – shot him,” Giuliani said on the Fox segment. “The police officer did his duty. The officer should be commended for what he did.”
Of course on the news station, facts are not necessarily wanted or of importance. Sticking with this idea, Giuliani says that indisputable facts about the discriminatory practices of the judicial system in Ferguson are all skeptical. “It’s an allegation. There’s no proof yet,” he said.
