A case concerning the murder of Atlanta resident Quintavius Waters is still ongoing after news of his death rattled the Georgia city earlier this week.
Waters, 23, was reportedly shot in the head inside of his apartment. Authorities believe there was no evidence of forced entry, with Atlanta police official, Major Adam Lee III, stating, “Whoever did this, apparently they were invited in or they knew the subject.”
According to his friend, Toboris Character, Waters not only worked security for the local Club Lacura, but he also worked for Young Thug. The ATL rapper has yet to release a statement on the occurrence. “When I first met him, he was so welcoming, letting me into his home,” Character said to Channel 2 Action News. “And I told him, ‘You can’t do that in Atlanta.’ I guess he did that to someone else, to the wrong person.”
The Atlanta-Journal Constitution reports Waters was found when his roommate returned home. Details are still forthcoming concerning the homicide.
