Boyz II Men’s Shawn Stockman apologized for cheating on his wife of 15 years, Sharonda Jones, in a now-deleted Instagram post. The R&B crooner said that he did things “outside of his marriage” that have hurt his family.
“I’m apologizing on record to my wife for my infidelity, about me doing things outside of the marriage that I’m not supposed to be doing with people who I had no business dealing with,” he told the camera. “For them to be as cavalier as to do the things that they did to try to break my family apart. I’m apologizing on record to my family and to anyone else that I have hurt.”
In a separate video, he said “I’m not exempt to the same issues, same demons, whatever you wanna call ’em…I apologize to my family, my wife most importantly. Hope you guys forgive me, and you know, I hope you understand in some way. If you don’t, it is what it is.”
Many fans were quick to jump on Stockman for taking to social media to air out his dirty laundry and for not being accountable for his actions. One Instagram user wrote “YOU didn’t need to issue a public apology most ppl didn’t even know about this until your post…accept it and try to make right to ur wife because your public apology means nothing to us it’s ur wife that’s hurting.”

@callmedollar There’s literally nothing recent on the internet about this so he really could have just kept this between him and his family.
