
Joseph Junior Adenuga aka Skepta gave Grime fans everywhere hope with his latest update on his forthcoming album. In an interview with i-D, the “Ojuelagba” the face of BBK spoke about his ventures in fashion and revealed the exciting update about Konichiwa. The “Shutdown” rapper confirmed that his fourth studio album is finally ready.
“I’m finishing my album Konnichiwa this week. Finished! Done! Three years of my life encapsulated on a CD,” said Skepta.
Skepta’s upcoming LP will follow-up
his joint project with Tim Westwood and will be his first solo release since his 2012 mixtape Blacklisted. Meanwhile, the London phenom also shared a photo of the album’s official tracklist being made by hand.

Skepta also revealed his plans to launch a clothing brand in the near future. The British rapper is becoming well-known for his designs. Before taking part in Uniqlo’s new campaign to relaunch their Oxford Street store in London, Skepta had designed visuals for Wiley’s “On A Level” and his own production for “Ladies Hit Squad.”
“I’m gonna bring out my own brand soon,” he said. “It’s gonna be for the streets, for your everyday person who doesn’t want to wear jeans all the time and wants to be comfortable. You won’t feel inferior in my sportswear!”
