Get ready to watch those heart eyes you send to bae come to life, as Sony gears up for an emoji flick starring Apple’s animated keyboard feature.
According to Deadline, the diversified electronics and entertainment chain clinched on a rights deal during an auction that also included bidders from Warner Bros. and Paramount. Writer/director Anthony Leondis stands behind the movie’s idea and creation and will also co-write the production. Depending on how it plays out, the big screen flick should also fatten some big pockets for the team, as the deal is reported to be valued near seven figures.
