Authorities believe they have found the individual responsible for the deadly bombing that shook marathon runners Monday afternoon (Apr. 15) in Boston.
CBS reports that law enforcement officials have identified at least one person they want to speak with, either as a witness or as a possible suspect. Surveillance video within the vicinity of the explosions depict a man wearing a black hooded jacket with a gray hooded sweatshirt placing a backpack on the ground while talking on the phone.
The FBI has asked members of the public to come forward with pictures, videos or anything suspicious related to the incident.
President Obama has already deemed the bombings, which injured over 170 marathon participants and killed three people including an eight-year-old, an act of terrorism.
Officials have yet to confirm whether the terrorist attack was carried out by a foreign or domestic organization. Various sources are beginning to note the pressure cooker IEDs that were used in the bombing are a weapon of choice for terrorists in Afghanistan.
