His album Neon Future will see a two-part release. The first part will be out August 12 on Dim Mak/Ultra Music, while the second part will be released in early 2015. His lead single off the album “Rage The Night Away” featuring Waka Flocka Flame has over 700,000 plays on SoundCloud – is now available on Beatport – and iTunes.
Steve also announced his year-long partnership with Bud Light Platinum and will be featured in their latest :30 second TV commercial that will debut next week. It is part of Bud Light Platinum’s Turn Up Your Night Campaign that focuses on the musical genre of its millennial audience, electric dance music.
A teary-eyed Aoki was also, “so stoked to be making the biggest announcement of my (his) life”. He will join the ranks of Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, and Swedish House Mafia and will bring his much celebrated live show to Madison Square Garden on August 16. He was humbled by the opportunity, thanked all his fans and said, ” It’s the ultimate journey of an artist. We’re going to turn this place upside down and make a statement – it’s an experience beyond a show for me. It’s a place where I can be myself.” Tickets go on sale May 9th, 12:00 PM EST at www.steveaoki.com.
