In May of this year, a Queens man was fatally struck in the head while riding on the outside of a Brooklyn-bound F train. The dangerous pursuit of “subway surfing” has been an ongoing instance in the Big Apple. Dating back even as far as 2007, a man died on the scene after falling off a Harlem-based C-train.
