Rapper T-Wayne, largely known for his hit “Nasty Freestyle” which reached #9 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this past May, is being investigated for rape after a young woman said he sexually assaulted her in a Texas hotel room this summer, TMZ reports.
According to the 22-year-old alleged victim, she and T-Wayne, real name Tyshon Dwayne Nobles, met on Instagram in June. The next month, he flew her from Dallas to Houston and upon her arrival, the two went to dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. After the meal, the duo headed back to his hotel room where the woman said the rapper got aggressive and initiated sex to her refusal.
Following the woman’s immediate rejection, Nobles allegedly attempted to guilt her into intercourse and when the answer remained the same, he pinned her down and raped her. According to the newly public documents, the woman waited five weeks to file the report with police because she was shocked and had difficulty processing the sexual assault. Nobles, who ironically is celebrating his birthday today, took to Instagram on Sunday (Oct. 25) to not so subliminally address the rape allegation.
“Lately they been trying to stop me. #WhoisRickeyWayne,” he captioned a selfie in which he displayed an unbothered facial expression while donning a shirt that read “RCKLSS.”
From the looks of it, T-Wayne is far from worried.
