For many Americans, fathoming the thought of saying goodbye to President Barack Obama as he makes his way out of the White House while president-elect Donald Trump transitions in is depressing.
Yet, through Love & Happiness: An Obama Celebration, BET reminded the nation that there’s plenty to celebrate as POTUS wraps up his final two months in office.
On Tuesday (Nov. 15), Black Twitter brought the energy of the televised event, which featured star-studded performances by the likes of Janelle Monáe, Usher and Bell Biv DeVoe, to the web using the hashtag #ThankYouObama.
