Since a 2005 deposition has been made public in which Bill Cosby admits under oath to purchasing Quaaludes with the intent to give to a woman he wanted to have sex with, the President has remained quiet.
During a White House press conference Wednesday (July 15) the president made sure not to offer a personal stance on the controversy due to potential legal action that can still be taken. However, POTUS did offer a clear and succinct definition of rape.

“If you give a woman — or a man, for that matter — without his or her knowledge a drug and then have sex with that person without consent, that’s rape,” Obama said.
Since Bill Cosby’s fall from grace, many have called to have Cosby’s star removed from The Hollywood Walk of Fame as well as to have his U.S. Medal of Freedom revoked.
“There’s no precedent for revoking a medal. We don’t have that mechanism,” the president said.
Bill Cosby received his Medal of Freedom from former president George W. Bush back in 2002.
