Former First Lady Michelle Obama is adamant about motivating people to vote during November’s mid-term elections. On Saturday, (Sept 22) she spoke to a roaring crowd in Las Vegas about restoring order to the country.
“I am frustrated. I am sick of all the chaos and the nastiness of all our politics,” Mrs. Obama said at the When We All Vote Rally. “It’s exhausting and frankly it’s depressing. So I understand wanting to shut it all out and go on and just try to live your life, take care of your family in peace, but here’s the problem: while some folks are frustrated, tuned out and staying home on Election Day, trust me other folks are showing up. Democracy continues with or without you.”
The Becoming author went onto to site her husband, former President Barack Obama as an example of one of America’s good presidents, which rubbed conservative political pundit Tomi Lahren the wrong way.
Michelle Obama said we “had” a great president. By what measure? Not in economic growth. Not in border enforcement. Not in strength on the world stage. Sit down, Michelle.

The tweet didn’t sit well with many who took to social media to respond in fluent petty.

I know Bigot Barbie didn't call herself stepping to Michelle Obama. Michelle has light years more intelligence, and more class in her pinky finger that Tomi Lahren ever will pic.twitter.com/Dh3yNI9LzR

Michelle Obama hasn’t responded to Lahren’s comment and she will not respond. Why? because she’s Michelle Obama, that’s why.
