Last year, Belgium flagship festival TomorrowLand branched out in a big way by expanding its brand overseas into the United States, resulting in its festival sibling, TomorrowWorld, setting up shop just outside Atlanta, GA. Following a modest first run, TomorrowWorld is looking to up the ante for 2014.
Today, organizers revealed the theme for this year’s festival, “The Arising of Life,” through a brief but emotion-fueled preview trailer. The video, awash in liquid gold effects, foretells an “eruption of life,” falling in line with another festival sneak-peek provided by the festival: its gargantuan main stage.

Those who attended TomorrowLand 2013 in Belgium will recognize it as the main stage from that particular event, but those unfamiliar can see it in all its glory below. Dubbed the “Volcano Stage,” the massive structure boasts dimensions of over 400 feet wide and over 100 feet tall, in addition to pyrotechnics and waterfalls. According to the press release, “over 80 shipping containers traveled nearly 6,000 miles” from Belgium to the states in order to build the main stage.
TomorrowWorld touches down once again this fall from September 26-28 in Chattahoochee Hills with a roster of certified heavyweights, including: Kaskade, Avicii, Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Skrillex and more. For tickets and more information, head on over to the official website.
