
By now, it should be general knowledge Tracee Ellis Ross is flippin’ hilarious. We also should know that the star of ABC’s Black-ish is one of hip-hop’s greatest emcees. (T-Murda has bars!) But not too many people knew the youthful 42-year-old can also sing.

Ross took to Instagram Wednesday (August 12) and uploaded two videos singing one of Billie Holiday’s more popular songs, “Lady Sings The Blues,” which was the title of the autobiographical 1972 film her mother, Diana Ross starred in playing the troubled yet talented jazz singer.

Sporting a French braid, gold hoop earrings, and minimal make up, Ross serenaded her 1.2 million IG followers and proved the apple doesn’t fall too far from the tree.
