Dwyane Wade is homebound, putting an end to the swirl of rumors surrounding his next move. Many alleged that Wade would be joining forces with former teammate Lebron James in Cleveland before the NBA champion announced his final decision on Wednesday (July 6.)
The 12-time All-Star ends a 13-year-run with the Miami Heat after signing with the Chicago Bulls. As expected, Heat fans are not taking the news lightly:

Meanwhile Bulls fans, including Chicago rapper Lil Durk, are seemingly ready for the change after losing hometown hero Derrick Rose to the New York Knicks in a multi-player trade last month.

Wade’s decision was not an easy one, but he believes it was the “right choice” according to a statement in the Associated Press. “Watching the Bulls growing up inspired me at an early age to pursue my dream of becoming a basketball player. My most treasured memories were watching my dad play basketball on the courts of Fermi Elementary School and developing my game at the Blue Island Recreation Center,” he wrote. “I have never forgotten where I came from and I am thankful to have an opportunity to play for the team that first fueled my love of the game.”
