Tyrese won a major victory in his child support case against his ex-wife Norma Gibson. A judge reportedly ruled that Tyrese doesn’t have to pay more child support for his ex’s “non-work errands,” TMZ reports.
The Fast & Furious actor previous paid $13K per month in child support. According to court documents obtained by the celebrity site, Tyrese is not expected to fork over money for Norma to get a babysitter to watch their 11-year-old daughter Shayla or other errands that involve running her household.
This has been a long battle for both Tyrese and Norma. Tyrese has been very vocal about his anger concerning his monthly bill. He protested his child support payments in court after his ex admitted that she used a babysitter because she was “living life” instead of working.
The judge reportedly drew out a list of activities that qualify as work-related, including developing her life coach business, working on her book or artwork. If she does require childcare services, Tyrese will have pay for them.
So things don’t get out of hand, Tyrese is reportedly requesting a detailed list of Norma’s day-to-day activities. The judge seemed to agree with Tyrese and suggested she “maintain a diary of time spent on work.”
