We know, it’s easy to be skeptical about yet another T-shirt line, but when one has fans in Rihanna and Lil Wayne, not to mention backing from one of the music world’s most iconic photographers, you’ve gotta take notice.
Prince Peter made his name around New York first by DJing at places like the celebrity-infested Beatrice Inn and it was his love of music that inspired his self-named collection and drew the collaboration of rock-n-roll photographer Mick Rock.
It’s hard not to love Prince Peter’s retro, rock-inspired designs that retail for $65-$75 at places like Fred Segal in Los Angeles and BBlessing in New York. Each shirt is produced as a limited edition piece and marked by stark black and white imagery like Lil Wayne’s “Rebel Rebel” Bowie T and Rihanna’s “Heal the World” tank inspired by the late King of Pop. What’s next? A line of leggings of course. ––Adrien Field
