VIBE has created, “VIBE Talks,” a space where creators of entertainment can speak on their experience in the industry and show how they connect and collaborate with other various creatives.
In this portion of the series, VIBE‘s Editor-In-Chief, Datwon Thomas, continues his talk with producer, model and musician Dewayne “Prince Syc aka The Golden Child” Turrentine as a breakout one-on-one from the previous group conversation with his film partners Erik Hicks, Tony Brown and Radar Pictures CEO Ted Field.
With a brief hiatus from the game, Syc is on the comeback trail to produce another hit web series, like his 2017 Gotham Awards-nominated drama Surviving (produced with his wife/lead actress Reagan Gomez-Preston), get back to the high-end modeling circuit and return to his music roots, which were blessed by the one and only Michael Jackson…yeah, that MJ.
