VIBE, VIBE Vixen and VIBE Viva are seeking editorial, social media and video interns with a passion for journalism and a serious interest in music and entertainment to join the NYC team.

Basic Information
Editorial interns will research news stories, transcribe interviews and contribute content to VIBE, VIBE Vixen and VIBE Viva. Interns will also have the opportunity to conduct interviews with talent (artists, actors and prominent figures in entertainment) on behalf of the legacy brand. Must have a forward-thinking mentality and be able to work well independently.
Social media interns will be assisting the community manager with upcoming campaigns, scheduling content, engaging with VIBE, VIBE Viva & VIBE Vixen followers/readers on owned platforms while driving traffic to VIBE.com. Candidate must be detail-oriented, interested in learning about digital marketing and active on social media. A background in Photoshop is preferred, but not required.
Video interns will assist in prepping for shoots, filming and editing video content in post-production. Interns must have strong organizational skills, be detail-oriented and hold experience with transcribing footage and creating cohesive visuals via Final Cut Pro.

VIBE employs interns during its Summer (June to August), Fall (September to December) and Spring (January to May) programs. Interns must receive college credit and be available to work 16-24 hours per week (with at least two 8-hour days). All internship positions are unpaid and are completed on-site at our New York office in Manhattan. VIBE does not provide housing or travel assistance.
