Justin Timberlake returned to the stage at DIRECTV’s Super Saturday Night concert, a pre-Super Bowl party in New Orleans. It was Timberlake’s first time onstage in five years and he came backed by a 10-piece band donning his outfit of choice — and name of his first single — “Suit & Tie.” JT performed for an hour. Timbaland and Jay-Z made guest appearances. Jay-Z during his feature on “Suit & Tie,” and Timbo during the evening’s closer “SexyBack.” Guests in the audience included Paul McCartney, Sofia Vergara, John Legend and New England Patriots owner Bob Kraft. He performed old favorites “Like I Love You,” “Senorita,” “Cry Me A River,” “Summer Love” and “My Love,” the latter mashed-up with Jay-Z and Kanye’s “Niggas In Paris.” He also covered two songs — INXS’ “What You Need” and the Jacksons’ “Shake Your Body Down To the Ground” — and performed two new tracks — “Pusher Love Girl” and “That Girl” off his upcoming The 20/20 Experience, due March 19.
