In news that surprised no one, the felon whose viral mugshot launched a thousand panties on the Internet has been offered a modeling contract.
Jeremy Meeks, 30, came to fame after his jail photo was posted on the Stockton Police’s Facebook, along with several others to crack down on “a recent increase of shootings and robberies in the Weston Ranch area”, otherwise known as “Operation Ceasefire.”
Now, the father of one has reportedly been approached by “Blaze Modelz” (yes, with a Z) to sign on for approximately $15 to $30K a month, TMZ reports. The “agency” says “gangster models” are the wave right now.
According to BuzzFeed, Meeks also scored an agent named Gina Rodriguez, who also reps Tan Mom. The family has also started a GoFundMe to raise $25,000 to get this guy out of the pen.
Despite getting a shout out on the BET Awards Titantron, Meeks is being held on $900,000 on serious weapons charges so time (and money) will only tell if #FelonBae will hit a runway near you.
