The line between Yeezus and Jesus is actually thicker than some may think.
During a Melbourne, Australia stop on his Yeezus tour, Kanye West refused to continue with his performance of “Good Life” until everyone in the crowd was on their feet – except of course, for those who were unable to be.
“I can’t do this song if there’s anybody in here sitting down,” he said. “Unless you’re handicapped. I need to to pull out your handicapped parking slip right now.”
Proceeding to quickly survey the area for fans who hadn’t rose from their seats, Yeezy jokingly gave a fan with a cast a pass before pointing out others who could not be pardoned. Halting his performance for only about 30 seconds, video footage of the night combats claims made by the Daily Mail and TMZ that West had asked a wheelchair bound fan to stand.
“This is the longest I’ve had to wait to do a song, it’s unbelievable,” the Daily Mail claims West said.
