T.I. sat down for Elliott Wilson’s #CRWN interview series in New York City this week (Oct. 28) to discuss his latest album Paperwork, as well as slew of other subjects. The self-dubbed King of the South also candidly spoke about his beginnings as an artist, his relationship with Pharrell and recording his Urban Legend album in his wife’s basement. In the lengthy discussion, the rapper openly gave insight on the tracks from his ninth album and his overall position in the rap game.
While Tip recently shared with us that the goal of Paperwork was “to make women wet they pants,” the rapper also confirmed that he and Jeezy would be working on a collaborative album entitled Dope Boy Academy. He also backed his Grand Hustle first lady Iggy Azalea, remarking that she “took a lot of motherfuckers’ spots.”
