What do you do when 50 Cent comes to your local liquor store to promote his new vodka brand? For one maryland woman, the answer was: “turn up.” When the rap mogul pulled up to the scene of his Effen Vodka appearance on Saturday (Oct. 3), he probably didn’t expect one overzealous fan to back it up and drop it low, but she did. And 50, who was more than a good sport about the occasion, dance along with her and shared videos on Instagram.
“LOVE BUG on the loose Temple hills MD. Lol Turn up,” he wrote.
The Maryland appearance is part of a long stretch of promotions for 50 Cent, who has visited several other store to promote his Effen Vodka. After becoming a spokesman for the Dutch brand, the G-Unit general has taken a grassroots approach to winning buyers over with the new drink. Though taking shots at Puff Daddy’s colossal Ciroc vodka has been a social media sport for Fif, it looks as though he might be getting further with in-person public relations.
