In the face of an extremely prolonged album rollout, YG has managed to stay bool, balm and bollected. After finally announcing an album date at the 2018 BET Awards, the “Big Bank” rapper has been steadily increasing the hype for his third studio album, Stay Dangerous.
Coming a long way since his 2013 breakthrough track “My N***a,” the Compton native has found himself among the sharks with his latest album release.
Alongside Travis Scott’s long-awaited Astroworld and Mac Miller’s Swimming, tomorrow (Aug. 3) marks the day YG finally drops Stay Dangerous for fans to enjoy.
Low-key trolling Travis and Mac, YG took to Instagram to push his album over the latter, using the cover art for Astroworld and Swimming in the process.
Acting in typical YG fashion, the MC added the words “Stay Dangerous” to each album cover in a slick act of self-promo.
As expected, both rappers kept a good energy and sent the 4-hunnid rapper their support.
