John Wall isn’t just a beast on the hardwood. The Washington Wizards point guard can also suit up in style.
For Sean John’s latest “Dream Big” campaign, Wall, alongside DJ Mustard, Troy Ave, Terrence J and TV personality Christopher B, are getting out their dreams and putting the Brand Puff Built back on the map.
As New York Fashion Week and All-Star Weekend competed with the city’s traffic, Wall made an appearance at Macy’s in Herald Square (Feb. 12) for one-on-one time with eager youngsters who fell in line to meet him.
“Man, I was pretty young. My mom bought me an outfit [from Sean John] and I had the opportunity to wear it so just seeing Sean Combs with it was really big for me,” he tells VIBE when asked about his earliest memory of Diddy and the brand. “To have the opportunity to have a partnership with him, be on his brand and show my style with something he created is pretty big.”
The 6-foot-4 All-Star already knows a thing or three about “big.” The former University of Kentucky point guard has already bagged endorsements with Red Bull and Adidas, and even made this dance a countrywide phenomenon. Accolades aside, Wall only has one mission: “to be the greatest point guard to ever play in the game.”
