As long as there’s air in 50 Cent’s lungs, his feud with Ja Rule will go on.
The Power executive producer stopped by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert on Saturday (Jan 12) to promote his newest business venture, a champagne called Chemin du Roi, which translates to The Kings Path. The gold bottle, which is priced at $160, is supposedly only for winners. Losers, according to 50 Cent, are instructed to drink Moet.
As the two men sipped on the French wine, Colbert questioned 50 Cent, or as he calls him “half-dollar Jackson,” about the rules of engagement as it pertains to beef. Fif instructed Colbert that as the number one late-night talk show host, he has to wait for some other host to come along, allege they’re the best, and then respond.
In a series of lightning round questions Colbert dubbed “50’s Two Cents,” the talk show host asked softball questions, i.e. how long is it okay to keep a Christmas tree up, or who should pay for the first date. When asked to pick between Nicki Minaj or Cardi B, Fif declined an answer.
Then Colbert asked 50 Cent to say something nice about his longtime nemesis, Ja Rule, and Fif responded in only a way he can.
