A&E’s EVP and head of programming Elaine Frontain Bryant explained in her own way the network’s new partnership with the mogul. “Leaning into A&E’s legacy in showcasing the arts, we’re setting out to redefine the traditional variety show,” she said. “50 Cent is the perfect partner to refresh this classic format. He is a true tastemaker across industries and we are excited to see his impressive showcase of talent.”
The news is a break from the rapper’s recent legal troubles. In addition to the upcoming series, fans of Power can expect season three to drop this summer. The cast came together earlier this month for a wrap party.
