Tonight’s brand new episode of Scandal is a ways off of the season finale, but when is it? We’re letting you know after the break!
ABC let loose a press release announcing the season finale dates for their 2012-2013 TV season. Tambay over at Shadow And Act gave a once-over the list and found that fans of the Kerry Washington-led show will be along for all the “fixes” until the season finale on May 16.
He notes that it won’t be a two-hour finale like Revenge, but with seven new episodes left until the season’s end, we all have to agree that that’s more than enough time to spend with Olivia Pope and Huck! After two weeks of repeats that surely drove your female friends and significant others crazy, tonight will be an all-new episode.
Unfortunately, those seven episodes will be dragged out over a nine-week period, which means that there will be another two week of repeats sometime between this week and the week of the finale. Is that such a good thing? According to the ratings, which show a healthy uptick, audiences are tuning in even when they episode is a repeat.
For those not ready for Grey’s Anatomy to take a hiatus, you’ll get the same amount of time with it, as Scandal fans will get with Kerry Washington—the show’s finale is also May 16.
