The past few years have found AMC fans bringing in the summer with a new season of Breaking Bad. Now, that won’t happen in 2014, but AMC has announced a few good things that will tide audiences over in the new year.
Mad Men will return for its final season on April 13, according to a new press release from AMC. The seven-episode season will wrap up the tale of Dick Whitman and his marketing ad men colleagues.
Meanwhile, Better Call Saul, a Breaking Bad spinoff focused on the smarmy lawyer played by Bob Odenkirk, will arrive on boob tubes this November. The Sunday announcement was for TV critics, as channel chief Charlie Collier outlined the network’s 2014 line up.
Turn, a new spy thriller set during the Revolutionary War, and Halt and Catch Fire, starring Lee Pace, are two other new shows that hope to capture the imaginations of television audiences.
