Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are back in action for their highly anticipated movie, Bad Boys for Life.
Today (Nov. 5), fans are blessed with a brand new Bad Boys for Life trailer, and it appears to be enough action to satisfy die-hard movie-heads.
The trailer begin in classic comical fashion with Lawrence botching an interrogation of a tattooed suspect. “I’m gonna penetrate this man’s soul with my heart,” says Lawrence, before getting knocked out with a punch. Smith retorts, “How deep do you think you got into his soul?”
This could be their last hurrah for the Bad Boy collective as Lawrence’s character Detective Marcus Burnett contemplates retirement from the force. But Smith’s character Mike Lowery convinces Burnett that he should leave more of a legacy than “body shots and bodies.” With this, Lowery and Burnett join forces for to break down a crime boss.
This time, the duo are assisted with help from newcomers Vanessa Hudgens, Charles Melton and Alexander Ludwig.
Bad Boys For Life marks the franchise’s third installment after Bad Boys and Bad Boys II, both directed by Michael Bay. Bad Boys For Life is being directed by Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah and is set to hit the big screen Jan. 17, 2020.
