The Kardashian-Jenner clan is a polarizing family, to say the least. While there are many who detest the family for their offenses, there are just as many who stan for Kris, Kourtney, Khloe, Kim, Kendall and Kylie.
To celebrate Halloween 2017, Mrs, Kardashian-West dressed up as three iconic women. Kim’s first costume was Cher, the second she received an assist from her older sister Kourtney and the two went as Madonna and Michael Jackson when they attended the 1991 Academy Awards together. The third costume Kim mimicked Aaliyah’s outfit in her famous “Try Again” music video.

The love and loyalty people have for Aaliyah is unmatched, so if anyone dare try and pay homage to Baby girl they must do it correctly or face unimaginable slander. However, some are not only dragging Kardashian for not doing Aaliyah justice, but even going as far as say to the 37-year-old culturally appropriated.
Legend or not Aaliyah is a black woman and you’re not. It’s offensive and you shouldn’t push this limit, but ok… 🙄

This isn’t the first time a celebrity has dressed up as Aaliyah for Halloween. Last year, Keke Palmer also showed her love for the R&B singer and received unanimous praise.
