Boosie Badazz will reportedly make his big screen debut in the upcoming sports film Glass Jaw, and despite the rapper’s inexperience on such a major scale, he seems to have a rather large role.
The Gatsby Studios production will reportedly depict the story of Travis Austin, a one-time boxing champion who loses everything when he winds up in a prison cell, Variety reports. Badazz has reportedly been cast as a street savvy, underground fight club operator who wins money betting on Austin’s fight. He will also star alongside up-and-coming talent Lee Kholafai (as Austin) and Jane the Virgin’s Jaime Camil.
While this will be Boosie’s introduction into feature films, the rapper has tested the waters with minor roles in small-time flicks like Gangsta Musik, Last Dayz, and Ghetto Stories: The Movie. Little to no information has been revealed regarding Glass Jaw’s release date. Stay tuned as more information develops.
