Hip-Hop’s golden boy Chance The Rapper arguably had one of the best years any human can have. He became a dad in 2016, released Coloring Book, which went onto become one of the year’s highly regarded projects, earned several Grammy nods from it, and to add a cherry on top is totally friends with Beyonce!
So when Saturday Night Live‘s booking agent landed Lil Chano from 79th to perform for a second time and as the sketch comedy’s show final airing for 2016, it was truly a no brainer. But before Mr. Bennett hit the stage, he teamed up with Kenan Thompson to honor Barack Obama’s last Christmas in the White House, Run DMC style in a skit titled “Jingle Barack”
After Keenan and Chance got the necessary giggles out of the way, Chance gave a rousing performance of “Finish Line” and “Drown” rocking bright red overalls and sending a special Happy Birthday to Jesus in between rapping his lyrics.
This guy Chance is truly the bees-knees. Watch his full set below.
