Love it or hate it, that Empire reign just won’t let up. Lee Daniels’ hit show will be returning to Fox in the fall for a second season, and we’ll have a lot more than just Cookie, Lucius and the whole gang to look forward to.
According to Entertainment Weekly, funny man Chris Rock will be making an appearance on the show. If that’s not enough incentive to hop on the Empire train, singers Alicia Keys and Lenny Kravitz have also been tapped for roles next season. Fox TV chairman and CEO Dana Walden made the announcement to advertisers in New York today (May 11).

They could be joining the ranks of other on-screen heavyweights like Common, Oprah Winfrey and Eminem, celebs that producers have mentioned but not totally confirmed.
