Being a part of the Ross family seems pretty lit. Aside from the fact that your mom is the fabulous, never aging Diana Ross, you also get cool things like entire advertisements dedicated to you when you do something big.
The former Supremes star decided to congratulate her second oldest child, Tracee Ellis Ross, on her Emmy nomination for her role as Rainbow Johnson in the ABC television show Black-ish, with a beautiful advertisement in The Hollywood Reporter. The nomination, which serves as Ross’ first Emmy nod, is for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series. The actress has previously won two NAACP awards for Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on the show.
The advertisement reads, “Congratulations to my daughter Tracee Ellis Ross on her nomination for lead actress in a comedy series for her work on ‘Black-ish’. SO PROUD OF YOU. Love, Mom and the Ross Family.”
Awww, so sweet. One can only imagine what Mama Ross will do if she wins.
