Drake is officially ready to take over the TV and film industry. Drizzy and Future the Prince have reportedly signed a first-look deal to develop new projects for producer Matthew Budman’s newly launched company Forest Hill Entertainment, Deadline reports.
Budman previously produced major blockbuster films including 2017’s Detroit and 2013’s American Hustle. “Drake and Future the Prince have been leading the way as artists in the music and fashion arena, and I’m honored to be collaborating with them as they continue to broaden their influence in the original content space,” Budman said in a statement.
The new deal is just the latest accomplishment to add to Drake and Future’s budding, Hollywood resume. Drake reportedly signed on to executive produce A24’s upcoming series, Euphoria for HBO.
“Drake and I are thrilled to partner with our longtime friend at the inception of Forest Hill Entertainment, supporting Matthew and his team as they set new, unprecedented boundaries of groundbreaking content,” Future the Prince stated. “This partnership aligns strongly with our mission of developing and fostering emerging and preeminent talent across the entertainment landscape.”
