Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is putting his producer hat on and is bringing a new docu-series to the Fuse network. Johnson is taking his production company, Johnson’s Seven Bucks Productions, which is in the works of introducing the competitive world of marching bands as it will revolve around the Drum Corps International. The show is set to be named “Hard Corps” as Johnson broke the great news through Instagram.
The show will feature a couple of all-star teams, one from Northern California with the other from Pennsylvania, going head-to-head in a long-lived rivalry that’s lasted over the course of 20 years. “The entertainers have incredible tenacity, drive and a hard core commitment to excellence. Viewers will be on the edge of their seats seeing who comes out on top,” Johnson said in a statement.
“Hard Corps” has traveled from city to city throughout the United States as it officially underwent its production stages in November. The show will wrap up filming as the world championship takes place in August 2016 in Indianapolis.
