Pedaling in $67.3 million in ticket revenue, the seventh installment is on track to tally $168 million for its opening weekend, Forbes estimates. With a look at the logistics, the movie reigns in at the ninth spot for a multi-million dollar Friday opening behind Harry Potter, Hunger Games, and Twilight.
The reel also received rave-reviews since its 48-hour debut, namely for their tear-jerking tribute to the late Paul Walker.
