Lena Dunham’s baby is about to get a reality facelift.
The HBO hit series “Girls” may become a reality TV spinoff, according to ABC News. A self-proclaimed “Emmy Award-winning” production company posted an ad on Craiglist, seeking “well educated and cultured extroverts.”
“The real life television show we are making follows the trials and tribulations of an ensemble of wise-beyond-their-years young ladies. We are with you living the dream in hipster Brooklyn and lower Manhattan,” the ad reads. “Are you thinking about that show-“Girls?” Well we didn’t say it but…now that you mention it.”
The show, which recently nabbed two Golden Globes for best comedy series and for best comedy actress, starring its creator Dunham and friends, who play resemblances of themselves on-camera, may not be real enough to suffice. Though it has come under fire for its lack of non-white characters, Donald Glover (also known as rapper Childish Gambino) was added to the fold.
