Kids of the 90s everywhere should be jumping for joy with full hearts because Nickelodeon is distributing nostalgia like never before.
The network has officially announced that they have established a title and cast members for the voices of the characters in the new film, ‘Hey Arnold!: The Jungle Movie.’
‘Hey Arnold!’ fans everywhere will be very happy to know that most of the old cast, including the voices for Helga, Grandpa and Grandma, and Harold, will remain the voices of the characters in the new movie, except for, wait for it… Arnold.
Unfortunately, Lane Toran, the original voice of Arnold has outgrown the voice and is unable to fulfill the role.
Instead ‘Mad Men’s Mason Vale Cotton will be voicing the central character this go-round. Details about any changes in the original plot haven’t been shared, but they did give us something to think about
The Jungle Movie will feature a storyline that picks up from where the original series ended in 2004 and will resolve unanswered questions and plotlines–including Arnold finally getting answers about the whereabouts of his missing parents.
The movie is set to be released in 2017.
