Since Beyonce’s release of Lemonade, it seems as if everyone including presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton is lost in the sauce. The Democratic frontrunner revealed she’s a proud member of the Bey Hive on The Ellen DeGeneres Show May 24.
Clinton sat with Ellen to talk about politics and the upcoming elections, but also managed to chat about current events in pop culture. During one segment of the show, Ellen asked a series of questions posed from the audience and viewers at home. Pop singer, Taylor Swift, who was also tuned in asked: “Have you seen Lemonade, and do you like it?”
“I have seen parts of it, and I do like it,” Clinton responded. “It’s great.”
The Bey Hive must be very satisfied with that answer, but the fandom didn’t stop there. Clinton also revealed she previously visited a Beyonce video shoot in L.A. back in March 2016 – although, it’s a little unclear how much the presidential candidate got to see, being that Beyonce is known to be very exclusive.
In another rapid-fire questioning in December 2015, Clinton was asked whether she would like to be president of Beyonce, to which she responded,
“I want to be as good a president as Beyoncé is a performer.” But as election time gets closer, Clinton revealed that she wouldn’t rule out Beyonce for VP of the United States.
“I believe in making lemonade out of lemons,” she said.
