Jerry Seinfeld is the man in these streets. (Just ask Wale who dedicated a good portion of his catalog to his comedic idol.) When he links up with David Letterman, though, it’s a party.
With Letterman’s exit from The Late Show a few flips of the calendar away, the OG late-night host swapped seats with Seinfeld to be a guest on his own show on Friday (April 24). “How am I possibly going to be entertaining with this giant looming to my left?,” Letterman asked.
There were bromantic moments as Letterman praised Seinfeld’s Comedian in Cars Getting Coffee e-series and Seinfeld knocked Letterman’s retirement. “This whole quitting thing is the stupidest idea I’ve ever heard,” Seinfeld (sorta) joked. We know the feeling, Jerry.
