With MTV’s Jersey Shore pumping its last fist this season, a lot of speculation has been going around as to where the show’s stars will end up. Will Snooki settle down into the white picket fence life with Jionni & the new baby? Will Sam & Ron finally get it right?
In a recent interview with the Associated Press, the cast expressed their feelings about ending their run at the Seaside Heights beach house, memories from past seasons, and what they plan on getting into after the cameras wrap.
“As long as we’re all happy, successful, doing what we love to do after this I’m sure that’s all that matters,” Sammy Sweetheart said. She and Ron have recently moved in together, so hopefully that works out for the both of them.
Mike, a.k.a. “The Situation,” spoke on battling his painkiller addiction throughout the season, stating, “I took it day by day. I knew it was going to be an obstacle in how I was going to handle it, how they were going to handle it and how our relationship would change, if it changed at all. I just took it moment by moment. I tried to be the best Mike that I can be. Pauly, Ronnie and the whole crew really helped me get through the season.”
As far as spinoffs are concerned, Pauly D is waiting on confirmation for The Pauly D Project Season 2, and Snooki & JWOWW just wrapped season 2 of their show, Snooki & JWoww.
“Everything has to come to an end,” The Situation added. “‘Sopranos’ ended. ‘Entourage’ ended. ‘Jersey Shore’ has to end. It’s only a chapter of our lives. Now, another chapter of our lives is opening. We’re just gonna use that tool. Whoever is smart enough to make the right decisions will make it last forever. That’s the name of the game: making it last forever.”
