Kelly Rowland for all intents and purposes, was not here for the foolery. The Chasing Destiny host demonstrated just how NOT new to this she is during a news segment with Atlanta’s WGN Studios.
On the heels of Beyonce’s explosive Lemonade album release, Rowland was on hand to discuss her new partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of America, however reporters seemed more interested in getting Rowland’s thoughts on Bey’s new project.
“Talking about new music. You know all the talk this week has been about Beyonce’s new album. Have you heard it yet? Have you had an opportunity to give some thoughts on the whole thing?”
“I sure have. It’s great,” Rowland said with a smile.
“Really different though, right?”
“Yes, really different,” Rowland, smile still in tact.
And while the reporter attempted to continue his Beyonce line of questioning, Rowland quickly and gracefully put an end to it, and got the reporters back on task.
“But getting back to what I’m here to talk about. I’m very happy to be teaming up with Claritin and the Boys and Girls Club of America.”
Good job Kelly.
