Damn, Kevin! The Central Intelligence actor was hit with an unpleasant surprise when he came home to a crime scene in Tarzana, Calif., Kevin was reportedly robbed of $500K worth of jewelry and clothes.
The comedian was in Miami to promote his new sneaker collaboration with Nike, the Free Train Instinct Hart, and when he returned, Kevin immediately called authorities after realizing some of his valuables were missing.
“We received a call of a burglary investigation at 1 o’clock yesterday, on the thirteenth,” Officer Mike Lopez of the LAPD told outlets. “We responded to the 3800 block of Winford Avenue in Tarzana, California. A burglary investigation was conducted. About half a million dollars of Mr. Hart’s belongings were taken during the burglary. The Los Angeles Police Department is investigating, and we will try and obtain any video footage if there’s any available.”
Police suspect the breaking and entering occurred during the previous week (June 10), when no one was home. The thieves reportedly entered his house through the back door.
Interestingly enough, the Ride Along comedian isn’t the only one who’s been hit in the recent weeks. In fact, both Scott Disick and Kanye West suffered from similar thefts only a few weeks before, which has led authorities to believe the incidents may be connected.
Hart shares the California residence with his fiancee and two children. Although he lost a great deal in valuables, it’s good to know no one was harmed in the burglary.
