
Hideo Kojima’s Metal Gear Solid series is one of the more popular franchises in the video game industry. Now, we finally have an expected launch date!
The prologue to Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain titled Ground Zeroes will hit shelves on March 18, 2014, across all platforms.
Announced by parent company Konami today (12/10), the release date comes by way of a new trailer for Ground Zeroes, which introduces gamers to the “Jamais Vu” mission. The escapade will only be available on the Xbox 360 and the Xbox One. In the mission, players are in the cybernetic shoes of Raiden and must take down enemy bioroid “snatchers”.

Those who have PlayStation 3’s and 4’s will also receive exclusive content in the form of a “Deja Vu” mission, where you’ll play as classic Solid Snake. Which one sounds cooler to you? The price will cost you $20 to $30 depending on which console you own.
There is no release date announced for the main storyline.
