A wave of happiness has flooded through the TV gates this week with the return of Larry David’s hit show, Curb Your Enthusiasm.
According to Variety, HBO made the announcement that the show will indeed be back for Season 9. Casey Bloys, the network’s president of HBO programming, expressed his joy on Tuesday (June 14.) “We’re thrilled that Larry has decided to do a new season of ‘Curb’ and can’t wait to see what he has planned,” he said. Debuting in 2000, the series was a dark comedy in which the Seinfeld creator poked fun at himself and the plights of religion, race and Hollywood.
When asked why he decided to return to the improvised series David said, “In the immortal words of Julius Caesar, ‘I left, I did nothing, I returned.’”
